Please come ... if you are able ... to the event mentioned in the previous post, in Oxford this coming Wednesday, June 27.
I ALSO ANNOUNCE that, Deo volente, I plan to celebrate
First Mass in the Extraordinary Form; London at the Brompton Oratory.
Low Mass, Thursday June 28, 11.30; by kind permission of the Provost.
First Mass in the Ordinary Form; Oxford in the Church of the Holy Rood.
Solemn Vigil Mass of Sunday, Saturday June 30, 6.00, by kind permission of Fr Paul King and Mgr Andrew Burnham. I plan also to preach.
Please! I would love to see as many friends, whether or not we have met in the flesh, as possible.

Please accept my apologies for being unable to attend owing to work commitments and the distance.
I am so glad for your ordination. It can only bring good to the Church. I offer up my prayers to God for your sanctification and of those you touch with your ministry.
In Domino,
Fr. Rafael Gonzalez
Many congratulations in advance. May God continue to guide you and bless you and your family.
Heartfelt congrats and prayerful best wishes. Sorry I can't be there in the flesh, but I will certainly pray for you at Mass and Office on that day.
Sorry, I will not come from Germany, but you are in my prayers ...
This Orthodox deacon, who has long been an admirer of your erudition (and later your endurance in a time of great trial), will do his best to join you at one or other of these occasions.
Many congratulations.
I will be in the wrong hemisphere for personal attendence, but will keep you in mind.
Wish I could be there Father. I have missed your blog (in Canada) this past year. Look forward to some thoughtful reflections in July.
Good news here too that Father Kenyon in Calgary, another fiesty Brit is being ordained next week.
So much to be thankful for, we shall forget the days in Babylon soon and the tears.
May our Lady's prayers with those of Bl John Henry be with you and all those being ordained this summer.
Deo Gratias!
I wish you many years as a Catholic priest! God bless you, Father.
Will the Low Mass be of the Vigil of the Apostles, or, being in the Archdiocese of Westminster, of the Dedication of the Cathedral? - my 1954 St Andrew Daily Missal suggests the latter, but I don't know what precisely the 1962 books prescribe.
I have just ordered my train ticket and, all being well, I hope to be in the congregation for your Mass at the Brompton Oratory. May you be richly blessed during the beautiful week that lies ahead, and in all your priestly life.
Very best wishes to you and to Mrs Hunwicke.
Unfortunately I will be having surgery next week and will not be able to travel :-(
My thoughts and prayers will be with you on these special days.
Elizabeth - another Orthodox reader of your blog :-)
I would have liked to be there, at your ordination and at these two masses, but it will be impossible to come from Oslo this week, since my college is on vacation and I am alone in the parish.
I followed your blog for a couple of years until we heard the sad news a year ago that your ordination had been postponed. Since then I often looked for news about your ordination, and I am very happy that it is finally happening.
Fr Oddvar Moi, Oslo.
(The only married Catholic priest in Norway - who also celebrates the traditional mass regularly.)
Father - I may be able to make London.
Regardless - I wish you the very best in your new ministry.
Deus tecum
Alas, Father, I cannot make it from Texas.
But you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Fr. Hunwicke:
I live in America, but please know you will be in my thhoughts & prayers as you offer the Classical Roman Rite on Wed, 27 Jun.2012. Ad Multos annos!!

Dear Fr Hunwicke,
Regrettably, my visit to the UK ended on Monday so I will not be able to attend any of these great events, either. Nonetheless, I join the others in noting what a joy this is, and how much we can expect from your erudition and zeal. Axios! Axios! Axios!

Just got back from the ordination.
Wow!
Fr Hunwicke,
It was a joy to see you ordained to the priesthood today - please pray for us all, and know that our prayers are with you for the road ahead!
Mr Underscore
Thursday evening, and I have just arrived home from London. It was a joy to attend your First Mass in the Extraordinary Form at the Brompton Oratory, and to be among those who received your First Blessing.
I wish you many happy and fruitful years.
I made Brompton Oratory for your First Mass and First Blessing today.
Deo Gratias!
It was a privilege to be present at your First Mass this morning. Gow with God.
Congratulations, Father!
What a joy to see you recently ordained for the Ordinariate. I pray we will see you posting here again very soon!
Dear Father Hunwicke,
With others here and beyond I join my congratulations and joy for this great occasion.
Dear Father, congratulations. Χρόνια πολλά!
Dear Father,
Heartfelt congratulations!
Tu est sacerdos in aeternum, secundum ordinem Melchisidec.
Deo Gratias!
Kenneth
A trans-Atlantic tribute here. Blessings!

After a long pre- and hopefully short post-ordination recess, may we expect a resumption of your blogging "for our good, and the good of all [God's] holy Church?"
Delighted to see the new ORDO advertised at left. Tell me, pray, how can one get hold of it in Canada? I went through a terrible rigamarole trying to get 2012, and I can't remember what the first step was.
I see that we can soon expect to hear from you again, Fr H.; ad multos annos!
